What Is Cloud Chasing?

Cloud chasing is a term used in vaping, meaning that you are blowing out a large volume of vapor.  There are a lot of things that are done differently to achieve this that are not done with traditional e-cigs.  One of the most important is the PG (propylene glycol) and VG (vegetable glycerin) mix of the e liquid itself.  PG is what gives the throat hit (feel of a cigarette in the throat), and the VG is what makes the vapor cloud (visual effect of smoke).  Cloud Chasers use a very high percentage of VG in their e liquid. This higher VG requires a hotter burner to fully heat up and vaporize the e liquid/e juice.  To get this hotter burner Cloud Chasers use sub ohm coils with a lot of power going to them.

Mech Mods and Box Mods are the two different styles of batteries that most cloud chasers use.  Mech Mod is short for mechanical Mod, which generally has the power button on the bottom of the device.  They come in different sizes to accommodate different size batteries. With Mech Mods there are no regulators on these batteries, which can allow them to overheat and can be dangerous.  Box Mods generally have a circuit boards that regulate the batteries.

There are two primary types of tanks used for cloud chasing, which are the RDA and RTA.  RDA stands for Rebuildable Dripping Atomizer.  RDA has a small well in bottom to hold liquid, coils and a cotton wick. This is the most common tank for Cloud Chasing, but it requires a person to drip e liquid into it after a few draws.  The RTA is a Rebuildable Tank Atomizer which is similar to the RDA, but does not require a person to drip e liquid on the coils after a few draws.  The RTA i has a tank that can be filled with e liquid and as the cotton wick starts to get dry it will pull more  e liquid in to saturate the cotton.

Here at Eliquid Market we are primarily a supplier of quality e liquid/e juice.  However, when we carry any Cloud Chasing equipment it will be the best most cutting edge of technology.
